During the latter part of the year 2000, God spoke to Pastor Charles E. Perry, Jr., about the start of Word of Restoration Christian Fellowship Church.  He was given four specific instructions:

The Location: Arcola/Fresno/Rosharon area & establish a Multi-Cultural Kingdom Church

Name of ChurchWord of Restoration

Where people could come and receive a word for their restoration

The Vision: “Restoring Lives with the Word of God”

The Assignment: Build God a City, “The City of Restoration”

In February of 2001, a core group consisting of 13 people came together under the leadership of Pastor Charles E. Perry, Jr., to form Word of Restoration Christian Fellowship. On March 4, 2001, WORCF held its first worship service at Luella Belle Goodman Elementary School located in Fresno, Texas with over 200 people in attendance. It was the first time people were given an opportunity to become members of WORCF and that day launched what has come to be a thriving church in the Arcola/Fresno and Rosharon area.

WORCF experienced phenomenal growth and by September of 2001, the ministry acquired a lease facility totaling 10,000 square feet. This building housed the Sanctuary, Radical Praise House Children's Church, Chosen Generation Nursery, and the ministry's Administrative Offices. In April of 2002, WORCF acquired an additional 4,000 square feet located next to the original property to house what was known then as IMPACT, Teen Ministry and that facility was called "The N.E.T." The N.E.T. consisted of an auditorium, game room, weight room and a full basketball court.

In November 2003, the ministry began what would be the beginning of unlimited and numerous outreaches in the community by feeding over 100 families during the Thanksgiving holiday and handing out more than 350 backpacks filled with supplies.

In 2005, WORCF acquired 44 acres of land and broke ground on “The City of Restoration”, home of the DOUBLE DOME. Phase one of "The City of Restoration" currently consists of: our teen facility The N.E.T., Administrative Offices, WORCF Tabernacle and the Minister's Suite for Pastors. WORCF currently has a thriving membership and is continuing to grow at a phenomenal rate as we "Restore Lives with the Word of God."

On Sunday, April 5, 2009, WORCF held its first service in the newly constructed WORCF Tabernacle. The theme for that service was “If Not For Grace”. An awesome message of faith was taught by the Pastor and Visionary Charles E. Perry, Jr.

From the humble beginnings with 13 people and no assets; God has blessed WORCF with perpetual growth in membership, 44 acres of land, 30,000 square foot worship facility, full and part-time staff and over $8M in assets.

In 2011, WORCF launched the “Restoring Lives” television broadcast, airing daily on the KUBE.

In 2012, WORCF broke ground on “The Intersection”; an exclusive state of the art, debt free million dollar facility for our youth ministries. This is just a glimpse of the good things that God has done, as our Pastor says: “The best is yet to come!” We are excited about bringing to pass the Vision of Restoring Lives and Building God a City - "The City of Restoration".
